Karlie Elizabeth Kloss
(born August three, 1992) is an American style model and entrepreneur. At just 17, Vogue Paris declared her one of the "pinnacle 30 models of the 2000s." She turned into a Victoria's Secret Angel from 2013 until 2015; she resigned to take a -yr hiatus to look at New York University.
Outside of modeling, Kloss has an interest in technology and has founded the "Kode with Klossy" camp, which goals to get young women inquisitive about STEM fields.
Early life and training
Kloss was born in Chicago, Illinois to Tracy (née Fares), a contract director, and Kurt Kloss, an emergency medical doctor. Her own family has Danish, German and Polish roots. She has three sisters. She moved to St. Louis with her family in 1994. Kloss has referred to as her classical ballet schooling "a beautiful aspect" that taught her a way to circulate in the modeling world and became a notable training ground for her runway stroll. Kloss becomes observed at a local advantage runway display.
She attended Webster Groves High School in Webster Groves, Missouri.
In September 2015, Kloss enrolled in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study of New York University.

Personal existence
Kloss is an avid computer programmer. In April 2015, Kloss partnered with Flatiron School and Code.Org to offer a scholarship named Kode with Klossy for younger women inquisitive about laptop technology and software engineering.
In collaboration with Momofuku Milk Bar, Kloss created a unique recipe called Karlie's Kookies offered in DKNY Soho all through Fashion's Night Out in New York City, with proceeds reaping benefits hungry kids around the sector (thru FEED Projects). Kloss referred to as it a "Perfect 10 Kookie" because, for every tin of cookies sold, 10 meals have been donated to starving children everywhere in the international.
Kloss began dating businessman and investor Joshua Kushner in 2012. On July 24, 2018, Kloss announced their engagement, one month after Kloss had transformed into Judaism (Kushner's faith). Kloss and Kushner married on October 18, 2018, in upstate New York. In June 2019, Kloss and Kushner had a 2d wedding ceremony birthday party in Wyoming.
